The Kansas Association of Taxidermists is pleased to announce the 27th Annual Convention and Competition.  We hope you enjoy the show and please remember why we are here: To further our skills in the art of taxidermy and to educate our customers.  The next show will be held in Hutchinson, KS, March 20-22. 2009.

People’s Choice, Judge’s Choice, Richard Schmidt Memorial Award of Excellence, Best All Around Taxidermist, Best Habitat, Kansas Lifesize, Fish, Reptile, Bird, Gamehead, Whitetail, NEW Competitors Award, see rules below, Starfish Reproduction Award - all awards tentative.

COMPETITORS AWARD 
This award is open to all levels of competitors: Amateur, Professional and Masters.  A trophy for First and ribbons for Second and Third place will be given.  Award will be given to the highest total score for four entries.  These entries may all be in the same category or mixed categories. (Original art is not accepted).  If an amateur wins the first place plaque, they must then compete as a professional in those categories from that point.  If you have any questions on how this award works, please contact Dennis Schumacher at 316-540-3141.
